A chance of snow in this week’s forecast. Yahoo! I still get excited when it snows in Eureka Springs. It feels like I’m inside an old-fashioned village snow globe or in a Currier & Ives lithograph.
Winter in Eureka Springs is mostly quiet, although this year the weeks before and after Christmas and New Year’s were very active downtown. I’m glad to see that people are discovering how relaxing our little village is–and what a great old-fashioned holiday paradise it is.
It’s still warm and sunny the first week of November in beautiful Eureka Springs. The trees are having a hard time figuring out what to do. Some are turning red, rust, yellow, orange, and everything in between. Some are just calling it quits and dropping their leaves on the ground. Some are holding on to their summer greens. It’s always beautiful here–no matter what the conditions.
